Çırağan Palace is located on the shores of the magical Bosphorus of Istanbul and it offers the ultimate in luxury amid the brilliance and glamour of a genuine Ottoman palace. The palace, built by Sultan Abdulaziz, was designed by the Armenian palace architect Nigoğayos Balyan between 1863 and 1867. Resembling the authentic palace with the baroque style and soft colors, especially the design of the facade and the great work which craftsmen worked the intricate stone latticework and marble colonnades by hand, has left its mark on history.
